BrisVO was established in the twilight of last century (1996 actually,
but 'twilight' sounds more romantic) to help Brisbane based voice talent
and the people who hire them.

BrisVO is not a company or an agent or anything else that's easily categorised.
We refer to it, when we have to, as a 'loose collective'.

Basically we're a bunch of voice over people who got together to
do some joint promotion and foster professionalism at a time when
that was somewhat lacking. Since those dark, distant days,
we've done our best to understand and keep in touch with our market,
to make finding, quoting and booking talent simple and to ensure that
we offer a pool of reliable, accessible, high quality voice over people.

All BrisVO talent are able to accept your brief, analyse your script, respond to
direction and come up with the goods in short order, without wasting valuable
studio time, then get out of your way and let you get on with the job.
We are all professional voice over people and proud of it.

Every so often (it's been 2 - 3 years on average) we've organised ourselves
enough to update a web site and demo CD for members and to seek
submissions from potential new members. This will happen again, so if you're
a voice over artist who would like to be a part of BrisVO you can't just 'join',
but keep your ear to the ground and you will hear the rumblings.

Nobody actually 'runs' BrisVO. All BrisVO people speak for themselves.
