Over the better part of the last Earth decade, Leon Murray has brought hundreds of voiceover scripts to life, armed only with a youthful larynx, an extension cord and a portable defibrillator.
In fact, in what must surely rank as a crime spree on par with Dillinger, Leon has stealthily stolen into the eardrums of millions of Australians via countless TVCs and radio spots for clients as important-sounding as Energex, Subway, Telstra, Dreamworld, Suncorp, Sizzler and Virgin Blue.
Not content with mere 30-second bursts of attention, Leon chucked a petulant tanty until, in 2008, his voice was heard throughout our wide brown land each night as Network 10’s ominous Big Brother. His long-term dream of voicing Caramello Koala, however, remains unfulfilled (Cadbury steadfastly refuse to return his calls).
