Alongside 50 years of the Barbie doll, 2009 – perhaps more relevantly – marks Leon’s seventh year as a professional, Brisbane-based voice talent.
Over this time, Leon has brought hundreds of commercials, corporates and promos to life, armed only with his own larynx and a portable defibrillator.
A featured voice for Subway Restaurants since 2005, Leon has stolen into the eardrums of millions of Australians via countless TVCs and radio spots for clients as important-sounding as Energex, Telstra, Dreamworld, Suncorp and Virgin Blue.
Not content with mere 30-second bursts of attention, Leon chucked a petulant tanty until, in 2008, his voice was heard throughout our wide brown land as Network 10’s Big Brother – although his long-term dream of becoming the Purple Wiggle remains as-yet unfulfilled.
