Over this time, Leon has brought hundreds of commercials, corporates and promos to life, armed only with his own larynx and a portable defibrillator.
In fact, in what must surely rank as a crime spree on par with Dillinger, Leon has stolen into the eardrums of millions of Australians via countless TVCs and radio spots for clients as important-sounding as Energex, Telstra, Dreamworld, Suncorp and Virgin Blue.
Not content with mere 30-second bursts of attention, Leon chucked a petulant tanty until, in 2008, his voice was heard throughout our wide brown land as Network 10’s Big Brother – although his long-term dream of becoming the voice of Caramello Koala remains as-yet unfulfilled.
